The CEJN 10 320 5455 is a steel pneumatic hose coupling connector designed for compressed air and industrial pneumatic systems. It features a 1/4 inch body diameter and a 1/2 inch male NPT (MNPT) threaded connection, making it compatible with standard NPT-threaded pneumatic lines and fittings. Built to a High Flow interchange standard, it supports higher airflow capacity compared to industrial interchange couplings. The zinc-plated steel construction provides corrosion resistance in shop and industrial environments. Rated to 230 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is suited for demanding pneumatic tool and equipment applications. Installation is performed by licensed or journeyman-level pneumatic or mechanical technicians.
This coupling connector is used in industrial, commercial, and shop environments where compressed air distribution systems require reliable, high-flow quick-connect fittings. Typical applications include air compressor outlet lines, pneumatic tool drops, and manifold connections. The MNPT thread type allows direct threaded engagement with standard NPT ports on compressors, regulators, filters, and pneumatic manifolds. It is sized for use with 1/4 inch body pneumatic hose coupling systems operating within its rated pressure and temperature range.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service connector for industrial pneumatic systems using High Flow interchange-standard 1/4 inch body couplings with 1/2 inch NPT threaded ports.
Installation of pneumatic hose couplings should be performed by a qualified mechanic or pneumatic technician. Always depressurize and bleed the air line completely before disconnecting or installing any fitting. Apply appropriate thread sealant to MNPT threads per shop practice, and do not overtighten threaded connections. Verify system operating pressure does not exceed the 230 psi rated maximum before returning the line to service.
