The CEJN 10 310 5004 is a steel, zinc-plated pneumatic hose coupling designed for use in compressed-air and pneumatic tool systems. It features a 1/4 inch body diameter with a hose barb connection sized for 3/8 inch inside diameter hose. Rated to 230 psi maximum working pressure, this connector-style coupler handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 212 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial and shop air applications. The zinc-plated finish provides basic corrosion resistance in typical indoor service environments. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and general maintenance trades install this type of fitting when connecting pneumatic lines to compressors, tools, or distribution manifolds.
This coupling is intended for industrial interchange pneumatic systems. It is suited for light to medium-duty compressed-air service in residential, commercial, and light industrial settings. The hose barb connection style accepts 3/8 inch ID flexible pneumatic hose and does not require threaded pipe fittings, simplifying installation in tool drops, air-powered equipment lines, and portable compressor setups. It is a single-piece connector coupler, sold individually.
Designed for use with industrial interchange pneumatic systems accepting a 1/4 inch body coupler and 3/8 inch ID hose barb connections. Verify interchange type and hose inside diameter before installation.
Depressurize and lock out the air supply before disconnecting or installing any pneumatic fitting. Confirm hose inside diameter and barb size match before seating the barb fully into the hose; secure with an appropriate clamp per the hose and pressure requirements. Inspect the fitting and hose end for damage before returning the system to service. Follow applicable OSHA and shop safety guidelines for compressed-air systems.
