The CEJN 10 310 2455 is a Series 310 safety coupler designed for pneumatic systems requiring controlled air release before disconnect. Built with a brass and zinc-finished steel construction, this coupler features a 1/2 inch MNPT threaded connection and a 1/4 inch body diameter. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 230 psi and handles temperatures from -4 degrees F to 212 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of shop and industrial compressed air environments. Licensed technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers.
This coupler is suited for Industrial Interchange pneumatic systems in both light industrial and general shop environments. The safety coupler design allows residual line pressure to vent before the coupler fully separates, reducing the risk of hose whip during disconnection. It is appropriate for use wherever 1/2 inch NPT threaded fittings are required and compressed air tools or pneumatic equipment are connected and disconnected frequently by service personnel.
Designed as an Industrial Interchange style safety coupler compatible with standard 1/2 inch NPT pneumatic plumbing and Industrial Interchange plugs and fittings in compressed air systems.
Installation is typically performed by a qualified industrial maintenance technician or pipefitter. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before servicing any pneumatic connection. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to MNPT threads before installation. Follow applicable OSHA and local compressed air safety guidelines during installation and testing.
