The CASH-ACME UR138 is a SharkBite Max male NPT bullnose adapter designed to transition between push-to-connect and threaded pipe connections in residential and light commercial plumbing systems. This fitting connects a 3/4-inch push-to-connect inlet to a 1/2-inch male NPT threaded outlet, making it a practical solution for reducing connections at fixtures, valves, or distribution points. The bullnose profile supports secure seating and leak-free performance without soldering, crimping, or specialized tooling. Licensed plumbers and experienced trades installers use this adapter to simplify transitions in supply line work.
This adapter is suited for use in potable water supply systems where a tool-free push-to-connect fitting is preferred. Typical applications include fixture supply connections, valve transitions, and retrofit installations where copper, CPVC, or PEX pipe feeds into a threaded component. The 3/4-inch-by-1/2-inch size reduction makes it common in branch line work where a main supply drops down to a smaller fixture port.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install fitting for use within the SharkBite Max push-to-connect system on residential and light commercial potable water supply lines.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before connecting or disconnecting any fitting. Ensure the pipe end is cut square, deburred, and clean before inserting into the push-to-connect inlet. Do not exceed the rated working pressure or temperature for the fitting material and application.
