The CASH-ACME 45176 is a gas pressure test gauge rated from 0 to 100 psi, designed for field verification of gas supply and delivery pressure on residential and light commercial gas systems. Plumbers, gas fitters, and HVAC technicians use this gauge to confirm operating pressure at appliances, manifolds, and meter outlets during installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting. The 0-100 psi range covers standard low-pressure natural gas and propane systems as well as higher-pressure test scenarios required by many local gas codes.
This gauge is suited for use on natural gas and LP gas piping systems in residential and light commercial applications. Typical use cases include pressure testing gas lines after installation or repair, verifying inlet and manifold pressure at furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and cooking appliances, and confirming regulator output during service calls. It is a standard tool for any technician performing gas pressure diagnostics in the field.
Designed as an OEM-style test instrument for use on residential and light commercial natural gas and LP gas piping systems requiring pressure verification from 0 to 100 psi.
Gas pressure testing must be performed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC) and applicable local codes. Always shut off the gas supply and relieve system pressure before connecting or disconnecting the gauge from any test port or fitting. Do not exceed the rated 100 psi gauge range, as over-pressurization can damage the gauge and create a safety hazard. Follow all jurisdictional requirements for pressure testing duration and acceptable pressure drop limits.
