This valve is designed to deliver safe water temperatures of 120 degrees F (49 degrees C) or lower from all outlets. It enables the water heater to be set at a maximum of 140 degrees F (60 degrees C), helping to prevent Legionella bacteria growth. The higher water heater temperature also supports longer hot water availability, making it efficient for various applications.
