The CARRIER KSATX1001HSO is a hard shutoff Thermostatic Expansion Valve Kit designed for use with size 060 fan coils. This expansion device is a replacement for the KAATX0701RPB expansion valve. It features a hard shutoff design, meaning it has no bleedport and prevents bleed-through after system shutdown. Due to unequalized system pressure, a start capacitor and relay must be installed on all single-phase units with reciprocating compressors.
