Product Description

The CARRIER 38mbrcq48aa3 is a single-zone ductless heat pump condensing unit rated at 48,000 BTU/h (4 tons) of cooling capacity and up to 58,000 BTU/h of heating capacity. It operates on 230 VAC single-phase power and uses R-410A refrigerant metered by an electronic expansion valve (EEV). The unit is built around a rotary compressor and a three-speed ECM condenser fan motor rated at 4,500 CFM. SEER2 efficiency ranges from 15.1 to 18.9 and HSPF2 is rated at 11.5, making this unit suitable for year-round climate control in a single-zone application.
