The CARPENTER PATERSON 800fpe-6 is an adjustable swivel ring pipe hanger engineered for the support of non-insulated static pipe lines in demanding commercial and industrial installations. It features a knurled swivel nut that provides a positive gripping surface when adjusting tubing elevation, and the nut is tapped to the reduced rod standards of NFPA. Constructed from carbon steel with an electro-galvanized finish, the hanger carries a load rating of 1,000 pounds. It mounts to 1/2-inch diameter threaded rod and is sized for 6-inch pipe. Licensed pipefitters and mechanical contractors are the primary installers of this hanger type.
This hanger is suited for commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and hospital piping systems. It conforms to ASME B31.1, AA-1192A Type 10, MSS SP-69 Type 10, and NFPA standards, making it appropriate for pressure piping systems where code compliance is required. It is intended for static, non-insulated pipe runs where elevation adjustment is needed after initial rod installation.
Designed for 6-inch non-insulated static pipe lines mounted to 1/2-inch diameter threaded rod in commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, and hospital piping systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter or qualified mechanical contractor in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B31.1 and NFPA standards. Depressurize and isolate the pipe system before modifying any hanger or support hardware. Use the knurled swivel nut to make elevation adjustments by hand before final tightening. Verify that the threaded rod diameter and thread engagement meet the project specifications before loading the hanger.
