The CARMEX 3/8EXRH10UNP2 is a laydown threading insert designed for right-hand external UN thread cutting at 10 threads per inch. Manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied TiN coating, it carries a P25C manufacturer grade and a C5 material grade. The insert measures 3/8 inches inscribed circle and 0.146 inches thick. It is intended for use on CNC lathes and threading machines by machinists and toolroom technicians working in metal fabrication, job shops, and production environments where precision UN-standard external threads are required.

This insert suits a broad range of workpiece materials, including steels, stainless steels, cast irons, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and other materials corresponding to ISO material groups H, K, M, N, P, and S.
