The CARMEX 22ER5.0RSOP25C is a laydown threading insert designed for external ISO threading operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Made from solid carbide with a TiN (titanium nitride) PVD coating, this insert carries a P25C manufacturer grade and C5 material grade, making it well suited for threading steel and general-purpose turning applications. It features a 1/2 inch inscribed circle (IC) and a thickness of 0.187 inches. The right-hand cutting geometry and 5.00 mm pitch conform to ISO thread standards. Machinists, CNC operators, and toolroom technicians install this insert when producing external metric threads with consistent form and finish.
