The CARMEX 16IRG60BMA is a laydown threading insert designed for internal thread cutting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. Built from submicron solid carbide and finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this insert delivers consistent performance across a broad range of workpiece materials. It cuts right-hand internal threads with a 60-degree included angle and covers a thread pitch range of 14 to 8 TPI (1.75 to 3.00 mm pitch), making it a partial profile insert suited for general threading work.
