The CARMEX 16IRBG60P30 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for internal partial profile 60-degree thread cutting on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Manufactured in the P30 grade carbide with an uncoated finish, this right-hand insert handles a thread range of 14 to 8 TPI, with a metric pitch range of 1.75 mm to 3.00 mm. The 3/8-inch inscribed circle (0.3750 inches) and 0.146-inch thickness conform to the 16IR insert style standard. Solid carbide construction provides the rigidity and wear resistance required for consistent thread form accuracy across a broad range of workpiece materials.
