The CARMEX 16IRBAG60P25C is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for internal thread cutting operations. It features a 60-degree included angle and a partial profile configuration, making it suitable for cutting threads across a range of pitches from 48 TPI down to 8 TPI (0.50 mm to 3.00 mm pitch). The insert carries a P25C manufacturer grade and C5 material grade, with a PVD-applied TiN coating for wear resistance. With a 3/8-inch (0.3750-inch decimal) inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.1460 inches, this right-hand insert fits standard laydown toolholders used in CNC and manual turning applications. Installation and use are suited to professional machinists and toolroom technicians.

This insert is intended for internal threading on a wide range of workpiece materials, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and high-temperature alloys, corresponding to material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S.
