The CARMEX 16IR11.5NPT is a laydown-style solid carbide threading insert designed for cutting internal NPT (National Pipe Taper) threads on a lathe or CNC turning center. It produces right-hand internal threads at 11.5 threads per inch (TPI), conforming to the NPT standard used throughout plumbing, piping, and fluid-handling assemblies. The insert carries a manufacturer grade of P30 and a material grade of C5, and features an uncoated solid carbide substrate for precise thread form and dimensional accuracy. The 30-degree included angle and 3/8-inch inscribed circle define the insert geometry. This insert is sold individually, with a minimum order quantity of 10 pieces.
