The CARMEX 16ER16UNBMA is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for right-hand external UN thread cutting at 16 threads per inch (TPI). Manufactured from submicron-grade carbide and finished with a PVD-applied TiAlN coating, this insert delivers consistent thread form in a wide range of workpiece materials. It carries a 3/8 inch (0.375 inch) inscribed circle, a thickness of 0.146 inches, and a 60-degree included angle standard to Unified National thread profiles.
