The CARMEX 16ER11UNP25 is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for external right-hand UN thread cutting at 11 threads per inch (TPI). Built to insert style 16ER with a 3/8-inch (0.3750 inch) inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.146 inches, this insert delivers consistent thread geometry on a wide range of workpiece materials. The TiN-applied PVD coating under manufacturer grade P25C extends tool life across universal material applications. This insert is suited for external threading operations on turning centers and CNC lathes producing UN-standard threads at 11 TPI.
