The CARMEX 16ER0.5ISOBXC is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for external ISO thread forms with a 0.5mm pitch and a 60-degree included angle. Manufactured in the BXC grade, this insert features a PVD-applied TiN coating for extended tool life and consistent thread quality across a wide range of workpiece materials. The right-hand cutting geometry and 3/8 inch inscribed circle make it a standard-format insert for use in CNC turning centers and threading toolholders compatible with the 16 ER seating style.
