The CARLON UA7AERCAR is a 3/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC 45-degree elbow designed for electrical conduit systems. Made from polyvinyl chloride, this fitting changes conduit direction at a 45-degree angle while maintaining the structural integrity and smooth interior required for wire and cable pulls. It is UL listed, confirming it meets safety standards for electrical conduit applications. Weighing approximately 0.155 pounds, this lightweight fitting is easy to handle on the job site. Electricians use this elbow in both new construction and retrofit conduit runs where a gradual directional change is needed.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial electrical conduit installations. It is commonly used in exposed or embedded conduit runs where PVC Schedule 40 pipe is specified. Typical applications include branch circuit conduit work, service entrance runs, and panel feeder routing. Couplings are not included with this fitting and must be sourced separately. The 3/4 inch trade size accommodates standard 3/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC conduit.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard fitting for 3/4 inch Schedule 40 PVC electrical conduit systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. Power down all circuits in the affected conduit run before pulling wire through any new or modified section. Solvent cement rated for Schedule 40 PVC conduit fittings is required to make leak-tight, structurally sound joints. Do not use this fitting for pressure piping or plumbing applications.
