The CARLISLE HARDCAST 357899 is a Dyn-A-Grip Cable Hanger Kit designed for fast, tool-free suspension of mechanical systems, ductwork, and related trade equipment. Each kit includes a 10-foot cable with one pre-looped and crimped end, paired with a Dyn-A-Grip Cable Grip that uses ball bearings to lock the cable securely in position. The pre-looped end eliminates one grip connection, cutting installation time on the jobsite. Single or double loop configurations are supported, with double-loop capacity reaching up to 250 pounds. The kit meets or exceeds SMACNA standards for hanging systems.
Dyn-A-Grip Cable Hanger Kits are suited for commercial and light commercial mechanical installations where speed and a low-profile appearance are priorities. The tool-free design makes them practical for repetitive hanger installations across HVAC, plumbing, and electrical rough-in work. The ball-bearing locking mechanism allows on-the-spot adjustment or removal without cutting or re-crimping cable, which reduces material waste and rework time in the field.
Designed as an OEM-style cable hanger solution for commercial and residential mechanical systems requiring suspended support in accordance with SMACNA standards.
Installation is performed by licensed HVAC, plumbing, or electrical contractors during rough-in or equipment-mounting phases. Before installing or adjusting hangers on energized equipment, de-energize and lock out all associated systems per applicable safety codes. Ensure the mounting anchor point is rated for the intended load before securing the cable loop. Verify hanger spacing and load requirements against SMACNA guidelines and local mechanical codes.
