The CANATURE WATER GROUP 160198 is a dual-stage, high-flow whole house water filtration system designed for residential potable water treatment. The first stage uses a Polypropylene 5 micron Meltblown (PPMB) sediment filter to capture particulate matter. The second stage uses a Radial Flow (RF) Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) cartridge to reduce chlorine, taste, and odor. With a flow rate of 8 gpm and a 1 inch inlet and outlet connection, this system is sized for whole-house point-of-entry installation. Licensed plumbers and water treatment technicians are the typical installers.
This filtration system is suited for residential whole-house point-of-entry applications where sediment, chlorine taste, and odor reduction are required. The dual-stage design handles both mechanical filtration and chemical adsorption in a single housing assembly. At 8 gpm, it supports normal household demand without significant pressure drop. The system is rated for up to 70,000 gallons of total capacity, making it a serviceable long-term installation for treating municipal or lightly impacted well water.
Designed as an OEM-style whole-house point-of-entry filtration system with a 1 inch connection, suitable for residential plumbing systems requiring dual-stage sediment and carbon filtration.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the main water supply and depressurize the line before mounting or servicing the housing. Mount the assembly on a structurally sound wall or framed support, ensuring the housing is vertical and accessible for future cartridge service. Do not exceed the rated flow rate or operating pressure specified by the manufacturer.
