The CAMPBELL pg1t-l-ssb is a 2-inch dial, liquid-filled pressure gauge built for mechanical and industrial service where vibration and pressure pulsation are common. The stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance in wet, chemical-exposed, or outdoor environments. A glycerin-filled chamber dampens pointer movement, delivering stable, readable measurements under fluctuating system pressures. The 1/4-inch NPT lower mount brass connection integrates directly with standard piping, manifolds, and pump assemblies. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial mechanics install this gauge where reliable pressure monitoring is required in variable operating conditions.
This gauge is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing systems, HVAC hydronic loops, pump discharge lines, compressed air systems, and general mechanical service applications. The lower mount orientation positions the connection at the base of the gauge, making it compatible with panel-mount or pipe-thread installations where a vertical reading face is required. The glycerin fill makes this gauge appropriate for high-vibration environments such as compressor skids and pump stations where dry gauges lose accuracy quickly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation gauge for standard 1/4-inch NPT lower-mount pressure gauge ports in plumbing, HVAC hydronic, compressed air, and general mechanical systems.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, HVAC technician, or qualified mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the system before removing an existing gauge or threading in this unit. Apply thread sealant tape or paste to the NPT threads per applicable plumbing code; do not overtighten, as brass fittings are susceptible to damage from excessive torque. Verify that the gauge pressure range is appropriate for the system before returning the system to service.
