The CAMPBELL 5412235 is a screw pin anchor shackle constructed from carbon steel with a galvanized finish. Anchor shackles, sometimes called bow shackles, feature a rounded omega-shaped body that accepts loads from multiple directions, making them a standard hardware component in rigging, lifting, and tie-down applications. The screw pin closure allows for quick connection and disconnection in the field without special tools. The galvanized finish provides a baseline level of corrosion resistance for general outdoor and industrial use. This shackle is installed by riggers, ironworkers, marine trades, and general contractors working with chain, wire rope, or synthetic slings.
This screw pin anchor shackle is suited for general rigging and load-securing tasks across construction, marine, agricultural, and industrial environments. It performs in applications where a removable, load-rated connection point is needed between rigging hardware components such as chains, hooks, wire rope, and lifting eyes. The anchor body geometry distributes in-line and angular loads across the bow, which is preferred over chain shackles when the load direction may shift during the lift or pull.

Never side-load a shackle beyond the rated angular load limits, and never replace the screw pin with a bolt of unknown grade. Inspect the shackle body and pin for deformation, cracks, or corrosion before each use.
