The CAMCO MFG 59323 is a two-stage, horizontal-mount propane regulator designed for RV LP gas systems. It integrates both the first and second pressure-reduction stages into a single compact body, delivering a steady outlet pressure of 11 inches WC to downstream appliances. Rated at 160,000 BTU/h propane capacity, the 59323 handles the full load of typical multi-appliance RV installations. The inlet is a 1/4-inch Female National Pipe Thread connection and the outlet is a 3/8-inch Female National Pipe Thread connection. It carries CSA listing for code-compliant installations. Plumbers and RV service technicians install this regulator directly at the LP cylinder or supply manifold.
The 59323 is suited for residential-scale RV propane systems where a single regulator must step cylinder pressure down to usable appliance pressure in one housing. The integral two-stage design reduces the pressure drop noise and pulsation that can occur with single-stage regulators, resulting in more consistent gas flow to furnaces, water heaters, ranges, and refrigerators in horizontal-mount configurations. The unit ships individually and is rated for propane service only.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or upgrade regulator for RV horizontal-mount propane supply systems requiring a two-stage, CSA-listed regulator with 1/4-inch Female NPT inlet and 3/8-inch Female NPT outlet at 11 inches WC outlet pressure.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, LP gas technician, or certified RV service technician in accordance with NFPA 58 and applicable local codes. Close the LP cylinder valve and bleed downstream pressure before removing any existing regulator. Verify all connections with an approved leak-detection solution after installation — never use an open flame to check for leaks. Do not install in a vertical orientation or in an enclosed space without adequate ventilation.
