The CAMCO MFG 10427 is a 3/4-inch temperature and pressure relief valve designed for residential water heater applications. It is set to relieve at 150 psi and 210 degrees F, providing a critical safety function by venting excess pressure and heat before dangerous conditions develop. The body is all-brass construction with a stainless steel spring for corrosion resistance and long service life. An epoxy-coated extension probe and an extended 2.5-inch inlet are included. This valve is AGA Certified and meets ANS Z21.22 design standards, making it a code-compliant replacement for failed or aging relief valves on standard water heaters.
The 10427 is suited for residential and light commercial water heater installations where a 3/4-inch NPT inlet connection is required. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers during water heater replacement, annual maintenance, or whenever the existing T and P valve shows signs of corrosion, weeping, or failure to reseat. The included test lever allows technicians to manually verify valve operation without full disassembly. The extended 2.5-inch inlet accommodates common installation depths found on standard tank-style water heaters.
