The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES DL06120850BX is a pre-insulated copper line set engineered for ductless mini-split system installations. It includes a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 3/4-inch suction line, each wrapped in 1/2-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation designed to protect against UV exposure and physical damage. Both lines ship together in a single flexible assembly, allowing the installer to pull the complete set through walls, ceilings, and conduit runs in one pass. Plain end x plain end connections allow field fabrication using standard flare or compression fittings. HVAC technicians working on residential and light commercial ductless installs rely on this type of bundled set to reduce labor time and minimize fitting count.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial ductless mini-split applications where a pre-bundled copper line set simplifies rough-in. The 50-foot length accommodates typical wall-mount and cassette-style indoor unit installations where the outdoor unit is located at grade or on a rooftop pad. The EZ Pull configuration allows a single technician to route both refrigerant lines simultaneously through a single penetration or conduit sleeve without pre-separating the lines on-site.
Designed as an OEM-compatible replacement and new-installation line set for residential and light commercial ductless mini-split systems requiring a 3/8-inch liquid line and 3/4-inch suction line configuration.
Installation should be performed by an EPA 608-certified HVAC technician. Disconnect and lock out power to the indoor and outdoor units before making any refrigerant line connections. Pull the complete assembly through the wall sleeve or conduit before fabricating end connections to avoid kinking the copper tubing. Follow the equipment manufacturer's specifications for evacuation and refrigerant charge procedures; do not pressurize lines beyond the system's rated working pressure.
