The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061412400B is a pre-insulated copper refrigerant line set designed for split system and ductless mini-split installations. It includes a 3/8 inch liquid line and a 7/8 inch suction line, both enclosed in 3/4 inch black polyethylene hard shell insulation. The total length is 40 feet. The insulation is UV resistant and rated for R-410A refrigerant systems. Plain end connections on both ends allow for field flaring or brazing. The rugged anti-tear exterior simplifies routing through walls, attics, and mechanical chases. This line set is manufactured from copper meeting ASTM B743/B88 and is insulation-tested to ASTM E84/C1427 and UL standards. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics install this component as part of a complete split system refrigerant circuit.
The 061412400B line set is suited for residential and light commercial applications including ductless mini-split systems, variable refrigerant flow commercial systems, and conventional split system air conditioners and heat pumps. The 40 foot run length accommodates typical installations where the indoor air handler and outdoor condensing unit are separated by a moderate distance. The insulation is marked every foot, which allows technicians to measure and cut accurately during rough-in without additional measuring tools. Plain end terminations are compatible with standard field fabrication methods used across residential and commercial installations.
Designed for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, split system air conditioners, and split system heat pumps requiring a 3/8 inch liquid line and 7/8 inch suction line with plain end connections.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or refrigeration mechanic. Disconnect and lock out power to all system components before making line connections. Field terminate plain ends using standard flare fittings or silver-alloy brazing per applicable mechanical and refrigeration codes. Protect the line set from sharp edges during pull-through to preserve insulation integrity, and secure the assembly at regular intervals per local mechanical code requirements.
