The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061408400B is a pre-pulled, pre-insulated copper refrigerant line set designed for split-system and ductless installations. It includes a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 7/8-inch suction line, both run together at 40 feet in length. The suction line is wrapped in 1/2-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation rated for UV resistance and approved for R-410A refrigerant systems. Both ends are plain cut for field flaring or brazing. This line set is manufactured from copper meeting ASTM B743/B88 material specifications and is listed to ASTM E84/C1427 and UL standards. HVAC technicians use this line set to connect indoor and outdoor units during new installations or equipment replacements.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial applications including ductless mini-split systems, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) commercial systems, and conventional split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The 40-foot run length covers typical installations where the outdoor unit is mounted at grade or on a rooftop pad at moderate distance from the indoor air handler or wall cassette. The insulation is marked every foot to simplify measurement and routing during rough-in.
Designed for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps requiring a 3/8-inch liquid line and 7/8-inch suction line with R-410A refrigerant.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification. Shut down and recover any residual refrigerant before disconnecting existing line sets, and isolate power to both indoor and outdoor units prior to beginning work. Plain ends require field flaring or silver-brazing per manufacturer and local mechanical code requirements — do not deform tube ends during routing. Support the line set at intervals per local code to prevent sagging and stress on end connections.
