The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061408300B is a pre-insulated copper refrigerant line set designed for residential and light commercial HVAC installations. It ships as a ready-to-run assembly with a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 7/8-inch suction line, both wrapped in 1/2-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation rated for outdoor UV exposure. The copper tubing meets ASTM B743/B88 material standards, and the insulation jacket carries ASTM E84/C1427 and UL listings. At 30 feet in length, this line set covers a broad range of standard split-system run distances without requiring field fabrication of individual lines. Plain end connections on both terminations allow the installing technician to flare or braze to specification on the job.
This line set is suited for ductless mini-split systems, variable refrigerant flow commercial systems, and conventional split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The rugged anti-tear exterior is engineered to resist damage during pull-through installations, reducing the risk of insulation compromise in tight chases or conduit runs. Insulation is marked every foot, which helps technicians measure and stage the line set quickly on the job site. The assembly is approved for use with R-410A refrigerant systems.
Rated for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. Suitable for R-410A refrigerant applications.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling certification. Shut down and lock out the system before connecting or modifying refrigerant lines. Plain ends require field flaring or brazing per the equipment manufacturer and applicable mechanical code requirements. Avoid kinking the line set during routing; use a line-set bender where tight radius changes are required.
