The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061408200B is a pre-insulated copper refrigerant line set designed for field connection of split-system and ductless mini-split HVAC equipment. The set includes a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 7/8-inch suction line, both wrapped in 1/2-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation rated for UV exposure and approved for use with R-410A refrigerant. Total line length is 20 feet. Both ends are plain-cut copper, ready for standard flare or braze connections. ASTM B743/B88 copper tubing and ASTM E84/C1427 insulation ratings give installers confidence in material quality and code compliance.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial split-system air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductless mini-split applications, including VRF commercial systems. The 20-foot run covers typical wall-penetration installations where the outdoor condenser is mounted adjacent to or directly below the structure. Plain-end terminations allow the installing technician to cut, flare, or braze connections to match the equipment manufacturer's service valve configuration. Insulation is marked every foot to simplify measurement and trimming during rough-in.
Designed for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps requiring a 3/8-inch liquid line and 7/8-inch suction line configuration with plain-end copper terminations.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician holding an EPA Section 608 certification, as this work involves sealed refrigerant systems. Disconnect and lock out power to all affected equipment before making any line connections. Plain copper ends must be cut cleanly, deburred, and prepared — either flared to equipment spec or brazed with nitrogen flowing through the lines — before the system is evacuated and charged. Avoid kinking the suction line during routing, as deformation restricts flow and reduces system efficiency.
