The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061212400B is a pre-insulated copper refrigerant line set designed for residential and light commercial HVAC installations. It features a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 3/4-inch suction line, both insulated with 3/4-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation rated for R-410A refrigerant systems. The line set runs 40 feet in length and ships ready to install with plain end connections on both sides. The rugged, anti-tear exterior simplifies pulling through walls and chases, and the UV-resistant jacket is suitable for exposed outdoor runs. Insulation is marked at every foot for quick measurement on the job.
This line set is suited for ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The 40-foot length accommodates typical residential side-of-structure and rooftop condenser placements where the air handler and outdoor unit are separated by moderate distances. Both copper lines conform to ASTM B743/B88 material specifications, and the assembly meets ASTM E84/C1427 and UL standards for fire and insulation performance. It is appropriate for licensed HVAC technicians installing new systems or replacing deteriorated line sets on existing equipment.
Rated for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps using R-410A refrigerant. Plain end connections are compatible with standard field-brazed or flared fittings.
Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician in accordance with applicable mechanical codes and EPA Section 608 refrigerant handling requirements. Recover any existing refrigerant charge before disconnecting an existing line set. Plain ends require field brazing or flaring to connect to system components — verify that fitting sizes match the equipment manufacturer specifications before cutting. Support the line set at regular intervals per local code to prevent sagging and vibration wear over time.
