The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061008300H is a pre-insulated copper line set designed for residential and light commercial refrigerant piping applications. It ships as a ready-to-install assembly with a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 5/8-inch suction line, both wrapped in 1/2-inch white polyethylene hard-shell insulation. The insulation is UV-resistant and rated for R-410A refrigerant systems. At 30 feet in length, this line set covers the most common residential split-system run distances without requiring field-fabricated insulation. Both ends are plain cut for field flaring or brazing. HVAC technicians and refrigeration mechanics handle the installation of this type of line set.
This line set is suited for ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and traditional split-system air conditioners and heat pumps using R-410A refrigerant. The rugged anti-tear exterior allows the assembly to be pulled through tight chases, walls, and conduit runs with less risk of insulation damage during routing. The insulation is marked every foot to simplify length measurement during installation planning. The hard-shell polyethylene jacket provides mechanical protection in exposed or semi-exposed installations where foam insulation would be subject to physical damage.

Installation should be performed by a licensed HVAC technician or refrigeration mechanic holding an EPA 608 certification. Isolate and recover any existing refrigerant charge before disconnecting refrigerant lines on a retrofit application. Plain ends require field flaring or silver brazing per IFGC and equipment manufacturer guidelines. Secure the line set at regular intervals using appropriate line set hangers to prevent vibration-induced wear on the insulation jacket.
