The CAMBRIDGE 105818 is a stainless steel worm-gear hose clamp designed for securing hose connections in plumbing, HVAC, and light industrial applications. Featuring a 0.5 inch band width, it accommodates a clamping range of 1-1/16 inches minimum to 2 inches maximum diameter. The stainless steel construction resists corrosion in wet and chemically active environments. Sold in boxes of 10, this clamp is a standard trade-supply item stocked by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters for routine service and new installation work.
This clamp is suited for residential and light commercial applications where a secure, corrosion-resistant hose connection is required. Typical uses include condensate drain line connections, flexible hose fittings on water supply lines, and similar low-to-medium pressure hose terminations. The 1-1/16 to 2 inch range covers a broad set of common hose and tubing outside diameters encountered in field work. Each box contains 10 clamps, making it practical for stocking service vehicles and shop inventory.
Designed as a general-purpose OEM-style replacement or service clamp for any hose or tubing connection with an outside diameter falling within the 1-1/16 to 2 inch clamping range.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pipefitters using a flat-blade screwdriver or a nut driver. Before servicing any connected line, shut off the water supply or isolate the refrigerant circuit as applicable. Tighten the clamp evenly until snug against the hose without over-torquing, which can damage soft hose material. Follow applicable IPC or local plumbing code requirements for hose clamp use on pressurized systems.
