The CAMBRIDGE 105135 is a black hanging strap designed for suspending pipes, conduit, ducts, and mechanical equipment in residential and commercial installations. Supplied in a 300-foot roll, the strap measures 1-3/4 inches wide and provides the length needed to complete large runs or multiple hangers from a single roll. The black finish offers basic corrosion resistance and a clean appearance in finished spaces. This part supersedes the previous model TRS-HS-134-B and serves as the current replacement for that item.
Hanging straps of this type are a standard fastening solution used by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians to support pipes, refrigerant lines, conduit, and flex duct from overhead structure. The 300-foot roll format is suited for commercial projects or service vans stocking bulk material. The 1-3/4-inch width provides adequate bearing surface for a range of pipe and conduit diameters.
This strap directly replaces superseded part TRS-HS-134-B. It is designed as a general-purpose hanging strap for use in plumbing, HVAC, and electrical installations wherever a 1-3/4-inch perforated strap hanger is specified.
Hanging straps are installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and electricians working to local building codes and standards such as the IPC, IFGC, and NEC for support spacing requirements. Cut the strap to the required length using tin snips or aviation shears and secure to structural members with appropriate fasteners. Avoid over-tightening fasteners through the strap holes, which can deform the material and reduce load capacity. Wear gloves when handling cut edges, as freshly cut metal strap can have sharp burrs.
