Calrad 55-628-15 Dvi-d to Hdmi Cable 15 Feet

Product Description

The CALRAD 55-628-15 is a 15-foot high-speed DVI-D to HDMI cable designed to bridge digital video sources and displays in professional A/V installations. The cable carries uncompressed digital video signals between DVI-D and HDMI-equipped devices, maintaining signal integrity over its full length. Gold-plated connectors on both ends reduce resistance and minimize signal degradation at the connection points. A/V integrators, low-voltage technicians, and experienced installers use this cable when interconnecting source components with monitors, projectors, or display systems that require a DVI-to-HDMI interface.

This cable suits residential and light commercial A/V setups where a DVI-D output must connect to an HDMI input or vice versa. Typical applications include linking set-top boxes, DVD players, Blu-ray players, or A/V receivers to monitors and projectors. It is well suited for rack-mounted equipment rooms, home theater builds, and commercial display installations where a reliable, fixed-length digital video run is needed.

Key Features

• 15-foot length provides routing flexibility in typical equipment rack and display installations
• Gold-plated connectors on both ends for reduced contact resistance and improved signal reliability
• High-speed DVI-D to HDMI interface supports uncompressed digital video transmission
• Compatible with DVI-D sources and HDMI displays without the need for an active converter

Compatibility

Designed for use with any DVI-D output and HDMI input on source devices such as set-top boxes, DVD players, and A/V receivers, connecting to HDMI-equipped monitors and projectors.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by low-voltage A/V technicians or qualified integrators following applicable low-voltage wiring practices. Power down all source and display equipment before connecting or disconnecting the cable. Seat connectors fully and finger-tighten any retention screws to avoid intermittent signal loss. Do not force connectors or bend the cable at sharp angles near the terminations.
