Product Description

The Caleffi 546016A DISCALDIRT Air & Dirt Separator is designed for effective air and dirt separation in heating systems. This unit utilizes a coalescing element with concentric diamond pattern mesh surfaces. This design generates a whirling movement that helps release micro-bubbles from the water flow. The bubbles join together, increasing in size until they float to the surface and exit through the automatic air release valve.

The separator also removes dirt efficiently. As water flows, dirt particles collide with the mesh surfaces and settle at the bottom. Unlike standard strainers that clog over time, the DISCALDIRT's unique design allows dirt to be efficiently discharged through a bottom drain port.
