The CALBRITE s10710ct00 is a 3/4-inch EMT conduit section fabricated from 304L stainless steel, designed for electrical wiring protection in corrosive, wet, or high-temperature environments. Each stick runs 10 feet in length with a 0.920-inch outside diameter, 0.800-inch inside diameter, and a 0.060-inch wall thickness. The number 4 polished surface finish makes this conduit well suited for food processing, pharmaceutical, marine, and other sanitary or chemically aggressive installations where standard steel or aluminum conduit would corrode. Licensed electricians install this conduit as part of a raceway system per NEC requirements.
This conduit is used in commercial and industrial applications where corrosion resistance is the primary concern. Typical install scenarios include coastal facilities, chemical plants, food and beverage processing lines, wastewater treatment infrastructure, and outdoor exposed raceways subject to moisture, cleaning agents, or salt spray. The 304L alloy grade provides low carbon content to reduce carbide precipitation during welding, making field fabrication more practical. The rated temperature range of -150 degrees F to 1600 degrees F dry supports extreme service conditions that standard EMT cannot handle.
Designed for use with standard 3/4-inch EMT fittings and connectors. Confirm that all fittings used are rated for stainless steel conduit and are appropriate for the installation environment.
Installation must be performed by a licensed electrician in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local codes. De-energize all circuits in the work area before beginning conduit installation or making any connections. Use cutting tools appropriate for stainless steel, and deburr all cut ends thoroughly before pulling wire to prevent insulation damage. Stainless steel is subject to galling at threaded connections — use anti-seize compound rated for stainless on any threaded fittings.
