The CADET 8734 is a double-pole thermostat designed for direct mounting on Cadet electric baseboard heaters. It provides straightforward temperature control in a unit-mounted configuration, eliminating the need for a separate wall thermostat. The two-pole switching design interrupts both legs of the circuit, which is the correct approach for 240-volt electric resistance heating circuits. A large twist-dial knob allows smooth adjustment across the temperature range and includes a dedicated low position and a full off setting. This thermostat is installed by electricians or HVAC technicians during new heater installation or as a field replacement on existing Cadet baseboard units.

This thermostat mounts directly to either end of a compatible Cadet electric baseboard heater, fitting flush against the heater profile for a clean finish.
