The CABLOFIL INC CJ12H is a 3/4 inch wide-base J-hook with an integrated retainer, designed to support and route low-voltage cables, data cables, and communication wiring in commercial and residential construction. The wide base provides a larger bearing surface compared to standard J-hooks, reducing stress on cable jackets during long runs. The retainer keeps cables seated in the hook without the need for additional tie-wraps in most applications. This hardware is installed by electricians, low-voltage technicians, and structured cabling contractors.
The CJ12H is suited for overhead cable management in plenum spaces, dropped ceilings, above-grid installations, and open-structure commercial environments. It accommodates bundled cable runs where a secure, consistent support interval is required. The wide-base design distributes load across the cable bundle, making it appropriate for use with Category cabling, coaxial runs, and similar flexible cable types. Sold individually as a single unit.
Designed as an OEM-style cable support hook for overhead low-voltage and structured cabling installations where 3/4 inch J-hook hardware is specified.
Installation is typically performed by licensed electricians or low-voltage cabling technicians in accordance with NEC Article 800 or applicable local codes for communication wiring. De-energize or confirm no active high-voltage conductors are present in the work area before installing overhead cable support hardware. Hooks should be anchored to structural members, threaded rod drops, or beam clamps rated for the intended cable load. Do not exceed the rated cable fill capacity of the hook.
