The C2G / Cables to Go Legrand C2G07389 is a 25-foot (7.6 meter) Cat6A shielded twisted pair (STP) patch cable designed for high-speed structured network installations. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 latch during cable routing and repeated connection cycles, reducing field failures in dense patch environments. Cat6A specification supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at frequencies up to 500 MHz, making this cable appropriate for data centers, server rooms, and commercial low-voltage network infrastructure. Licensed electricians and low-voltage cabling technicians are the typical installers for this class of cable.
This cable is suited for horizontal runs, patch panel terminations, and equipment connections in both commercial and light industrial settings. The STP construction provides an additional layer of shielding against electromagnetic interference (EMI), making it a practical choice for environments with high electrical noise such as mechanical rooms, industrial controls areas, or any run that passes near power conduit. At 25 feet, it covers mid-range patch and equipment bay distances without excessive slack management.
Designed as a standard Cat6A STP patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on network switches, patch panels, routers, and servers that accept Cat6A or backward-compatible Cat6 and Cat5e connections.
Low-voltage cabling technicians or licensed electricians should handle structured cabling installations in commercial environments, following applicable codes such as ANSI/TIA-568 and local NEC low-voltage wiring requirements. Ensure the cable shield is properly bonded to grounded patch panel or equipment chassis to realize the EMI rejection benefit of STP construction. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius and do not route alongside high-voltage power conductors without appropriate separation. Power down connected equipment before swapping active patch connections in sensitive network environments.
