The C.H. HANSON 25561 is a 9-piece reverse number stamp set designed for marking metal, plastic, and other hard surfaces where a raised or mirrored impression is required. Each stamp is machined from steel and measures 2.75 inches in length with a 0.375-inch shank for secure chuck or holder retention. The character size is 0.125 inches, suited for fine detail marking on parts, tooling, dies, molds, and castings. Machinists, tool-and-die makers, and metal fabricators are the primary users of this type of stamp set in production and job-shop environments.
Reverse stamps produce a mirror-image impression of each numeral, which results in a correctly oriented raised number when the stamped surface is used as a die or mold. This set is well suited for metal fabrication shops, stamping operations, and tooling applications where direct-read raised characters are needed in the finished workpiece. The stamps store in an included plastic case that keeps the set organized and protects the character faces between uses.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard addition to reverse hand-stamp sets used in metal fabrication, tooling, and die-making applications.
Reverse number stamps are used by machinists and metal fabricators and require no installation in the traditional sense. Secure the stamp in a holder or grip it firmly by hand before striking with a hammer on a stable, supported workpiece. Wear appropriate eye and hand protection when using impact stamps. Inspect stamp faces before use and avoid striking stamps at an angle, which can damage the character face or cause uneven impressions.
