The C.H. HANSON 21201K is an individual machine-made steel letter stamp for the character K, sized at 0.5 inches (12.7 mm) character height. It is designed for cold-stamping permanent impressions into metal, plastic, wood, and similar workpiece materials. The stamp is machine-made for consistent character geometry and impression depth. Machinists, fabricators, toolroom technicians, and maintenance tradespeople use this type of stamp for part marking, die identification, and tooling identification tasks. The steel construction provides the hardness needed for repeated use on metal surfaces without deformation of the character face.
This stamp is suited for bench or hand-press use in machine shops, fabrication shops, maintenance facilities, and production environments. It is sold as an individual character, making it a practical replacement for a lost or worn K stamp within an existing set. Applications include stamping identification marks on raw stock, finished parts, tooling, dies, fixtures, and equipment components where permanent, readable character marks are required.
Designed as an individual replacement or standalone character stamp compatible with standard 0.5-inch steel stamp sets used in machining, fabrication, and industrial marking applications.
Steel stamps are used by machinists, fabricators, and maintenance technicians. Secure the workpiece firmly before striking to prevent movement during stamping. Use a ball-peen or stamping hammer of appropriate weight for the material hardness. Always wear eye protection when striking metal stamps, as chips or scale may dislodge from the workpiece surface.
