The C.H. HANSON 21151X is a machine-made individual steel stamp designed to mark the letter X onto metal, wood, plastic, and other hard surfaces. The stamp produces a clean, permanent impression and is built for repeated use in production, fabrication, and maintenance environments. The character face measures 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) in size, making it suitable for standard identification marking tasks. Constructed from hardened steel, this stamp is intended to hold its edge through high-volume stamping operations. It is sold as a single individual stamp and weighs 0.26 pounds.
This stamp is used wherever permanent part marking, serialization, or identification is required. Common applications include metal fabrication shops, machine shops, tool rooms, and maintenance departments where consistent character impression quality is needed. The individual format allows technicians and tradespeople to build custom stamp sets or replace a single worn character without purchasing a complete set.
Designed as an individual replacement stamp character compatible with standard manual steel stamp sets requiring 3/8 inch character sizing.
Steel stamps are driven by a hammer or mallet onto the target surface. Secure the workpiece firmly before striking to ensure a clean, consistent impression. Eye protection is recommended during use. For deep impressions on harder materials, use a heavier strike or anneal the target surface as appropriate to your material and application standards.
