Product Description

Burndy BIPC350350 is an insulation piercing connector for copper and aluminum conductor combinations providing run/tap connections from 4/0 AWG to 350 kcmil. It is UL 486B listed and AL9CU rated for use up to 90 °C and 600 V. The aluminum connector uses insulation-piercing teeth to avoid stripping insulation and installs with a bolt-on connection using two hexagonal bolts and snap-out tabs for protection.

• Insulation piercing design eliminates the need to strip or tape conductor insulation; suitable for splicing, tapping, and dead-ending.
• Supports run and tap conductor sizes 4/0 AWG to 350 kcmil for copper and aluminum; UL 486B listed and AL9CU rated to 90 °C and 600 V.
• Aluminum body with two hexagonal bolts (0.38 in / 3/8 in), 9/16 in socket size, and recommended installation torque 300 in-lb; snap-out tabs protect the connection.
