Product Description

The Burndy BIPC2/014S is an insulation piercing connector for copper and aluminum conductors, engineered for splicing, tapping, and dead-ending without stripping insulation. It accepts run conductors #6 to 2/0 and tap conductors #14 to 8, uses engineered shear-bolt technology for consistent torque, and installs/removes with a 6-point socket impact driver. The connector is cULus listed, AL9CU rated for up to 90°C and 600 V, suitable for overhead taps, service, metering, and lighting work.
