The BULLARD 93607 is a Type 1 cut-off wheel engineered for angle grinders and circular saws used in metal and stainless steel cutting applications. Measuring 6 inches in diameter with a 0.040-inch thickness and a 7/8-inch arbor bore, this wheel is rated to 10200 RPM. The Lightning series design focuses on faster, cooler, and freer cutting action that reduces the power draw on the host tool. The wheel construction allows flex under binding and stressful conditions, reducing the risk of wheel breakage during aggressive cuts. Sold in a box with a minimum quantity of one box.
This cut-off wheel is suited for maintenance departments, welding shops, and metal fabrication environments where both mild steel and stainless steel are regularly cut. The thin 0.040-inch kerf minimizes material loss and heat input, making it a practical choice for stainless work where heat discoloration and warping are concerns. It is designed for production-level cutting frequency as well as intermittent maintenance tasks.
Designed for use on right-angle grinders and circular saws that accept a 6-inch Type 1 cut-off wheel with a 7/8-inch arbor. When mounting on a right-angle grinder, a proper Type 1 flange must be used — do not substitute a Type 27 depressed-center flange.
Installation and wheel changes must be performed by a qualified operator with the tool fully powered down and unplugged or locked out per applicable OSHA lockout/tagout procedures. Inspect the wheel for cracks, chips, or damage before each use and never mount a damaged wheel. Verify the tool's no-load RPM does not exceed the 10200 RPM rating marked on the wheel. Always use the correct Type 1 flange on right-angle grinders and ensure the guard is properly positioned before operation.
