The BULLARD 88VX1330 is a supplied air respirator (SAR) blasting kit designed for abrasive blasting operations where compressed air is the breathing air source. The kit centers on a curved oval-window helmet paired with a nylon cape that shields the wearer from blast media and debris. An F30 constant flow air control valve with a 1/4 inch industrial interchange fitting regulates airflow to the helmet. The included 88VXBT breathing tube assembly connects the air supply to the helmet, and five Mylar lens covers are included to protect the window during blasting. This equipment is installed and used by industrial hygienists, surface prep contractors, and trained abrasive blasting technicians working in industrial and marine environments.
The 88VX1330 is suited for abrasive blasting applications in shipyards, steel fabrication facilities, bridge maintenance, and industrial coating prep operations. The kit provides respiratory protection while the nylon cape protects the worker from ricochet blast media. The curved oval window provides a wide field of view for blasting work. Note that the supply hose is not included with this kit and must be sourced separately to complete the air delivery system.

Installation and fitting of supplied air respirator equipment should be performed by a qualified safety officer or industrial hygienist in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.134 respiratory protection standards. Before connecting or disconnecting the air supply, verify the compressed air source is at the correct breathing air grade (Grade D or better per ANSI/CGA G-7.1) and that the system is depressurized. Inspect all fittings, the breathing tube, and lens covers prior to each use. Lens covers should be replaced whenever vision is obstructed by pitting or buildup.
