The Tornado-Z design features overlapping abrasive flaps bonded to a fiberglass backing plate, delivering consistent stock removal and a refined surface finish in a single pass. At 4.5 inches in diameter with a 7/8 inch arbor bore, this disc runs at up to 13,300 RPM on compatible angle grinders. The 40-grit zirconium alumina abrasive is well-suited for heavy material removal on ferrous metals, weld seating, and surface preparation work performed by fabricators, pipefitters, and ironworkers.
