The BSC PREFERRED WS603654 is a chrome-plated steel wire shelving starter unit designed for flexible, tool-free storage organization in commercial and industrial environments. The unit ships complete with four upright posts and four adjustable wire shelves that can be repositioned in 1-inch increments along the posts, allowing techs and facility staff to reconfigure shelf spacing without hardware. The shelving carries NSF certification, making it appropriate for use in food service, healthcare, and other regulated environments where hygiene and structural integrity standards must be met. At a package weight of 138 pounds, this is a heavy-duty unit suited to high-load storage applications.

The WS603654 starter unit fits naturally into warehouse, stockroom, back-of-house, and maintenance shop environments. It is the base configuration in a modular shelving system - once installed, the layout can be expanded horizontally by adding the companion add-on unit WS603654A, or mobilized by fitting Swivel Casters (sold separately under stock number WSCASTER). Installation Notes

Assembly requires no tools - posts and shelves connect by hand using the integrated locking collar design common to modular wire shelving systems. Position the unit on a level floor surface and verify all shelf clips are fully seated before loading. When adding casters, engage all swivel locks before placing weight on the unit. Due to the package weight of 138 pounds, two-person handling is strongly recommended during unboxing and assembly.
