The BSC PREFERRED WNSF8260L2 is a floor-mounted, double compartment scullery sink with an integrated sloping drainboard, built for heavy-duty use in commercial kitchens. Fabricated from 14-gauge Type 304 stainless steel, it delivers the corrosion resistance and structural integrity required in high-volume wash and prep environments. Each compartment measures 30 inches in length, 24 inches in width, and 14 inches in depth, providing generous capacity for simultaneous washing, rinsing, and food preparation tasks. Plumbers and commercial kitchen installers are the primary trade installing this fixture. The unit ships at 222 pounds and carries overall dimensions of approximately 85.5 inches long by 27.5 inches wide by 44 inches tall.
This sink is designed for demanding commercial environments including restaurants, cafeterias, hotel kitchens, and institutional food service operations. The integrated sloping drainboard supports fast water runoff and keeps the workspace organized during busy service periods. The 8-inch-high backsplash, 2 inches thick to accommodate plumbing rough-in, helps contain splatter and simplifies the connection of supply lines. An 8-inch-high backsplash and 2-inch apron work together to contain spills and maintain a clean perimeter. The channel rim design and welded 1/4-inch radius coved corners throughout each compartment reduce debris traps and speed up end-of-service cleaning. Two centered 3.5-inch drain openings per compartment promote rapid drainage under heavy load. Adjustable stainless steel tubular legs allow leveling on uneven commercial flooring.
Designed as a floor-mounted scullery sink for commercial kitchen applications including restaurants, cafeterias, hotels, and institutional food service facilities requiring a double-compartment configuration with drainboard.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the water supply and ensure drain rough-in locations align with the two 3.5-inch drain openings per compartment before setting the unit. The adjustable tubular legs must be leveled and secured prior to connecting supply and drain lines. Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool on the stainless steel surface during or after installation, as this can compromise the finish and corrosion resistance.
